THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP candidate Rahul Eswar said at a press conference here on Saturday that he would file a complaint against CPM leadership and Kairali channel for propagating the “fake news” that he kept off certain persons in the name of caste during the inauguration of Guruvayur BJP office.
“The false allegation is that since I am a Brahman, I kept people from backward communities away from the inaugural function. The party and channel should restrain themselves from spreading such fake news that would only help to instil animosity among people on the basis of caste and religion,” he said.
