KOLLAM: A judicial commission led by a sitting judge should probe the temple tragedy in Paravoor, said opposition leader V S Achuthanandan. He said the tragedy should be declared as a national catastrophe. Talking to reporters after visiting the spot, he said the government appointed a retired judge to probe the case.
VS said the best treatment should be provided to the accident victims. The fireworks were displayed violating rules and regulations. All things including it should be brought under investigation limits. The fireworks were displayed even after the district collector denied permission for it.
