Keralite student succumbs to injuries in Bengaluru

KOZHIKODE: A student of Kerala who was under treatment after a bike struck her at the college campus in Bengaluru, died here Thursday. She has been identified as Nileena Chandran of Perambra in Kozhikode and a student of Tumkur Sri Siddhartha Dental College.

The bike driven by a native of Hyderabad fatally knocked her down in the campus during the Holi celebrations on March 23. She sustained serious head injuries. She was admitted at the Ramaiah Medical College Hospital in Bengaluru. Though there was a progress in her health condition, her condition turned serious and she breathed her last.  

There was an allegation that the management and the police refused to take action against the student.
