THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: India Met department has predicted that there would be rain in Kerala within five days, which would bring respite to people reeling under scorching summer. A depression formed over Maldives Island has brought in the prospects for rain, it has said. When it rains, there will be a 2 degree dip in the present temperature.
The heat being experienced by Kerala was not experienced during any summer in the past two decades.
