KOCHI: Posters have sprung in various parts of Thrikkakara against the UDF candidate and former MP P T Thomas contesting the assembly polls. The hand written posters were seen this morning in several parts of Thrikkakara. The posters were stuck in the name of party supporters. The posters were against the candidature of Thomas’, who has been replaced Benny Behnan.
The high command decided to select candidates as per the instruction of Oommen Chandy in the five disputed constituencies. However, in a dramatic move, the high command opted Benny Behnan, a close aide of the chief minister, out and replaced him with P T Thomas. Soon after the high command’s decision was revealed, party activists staged protests in favour of Benny.
Meantime, posters were seen against Antony John, CPM candidate in Kothamangalam.
