KOCHI: Youth Congress State President Dean Kuriakose has said T N Prathapan MLA’s real face remains exposed as he has asked for Kaipamangalam seat after going public with the statement that he is not contesting the election.
“After making a self-declaration that he was making way for the youth in the election contest, he snatched away the opportunity of KSU district president, who had been approved by AICC screening committee. Prathapan is saying that he decided to contest as he was persuaded by the Congress leadership. Is his ideology that much fragile? If he had been sincere to his stand, he would have made way for the youth who is just 28 years,” he said.
Dean said he would inform the Congress leadership about Prathapan who took away the opportunity of a youth leader after announcing that he would not contest the election for the sake of youths.
