Wednesday, 30 November 2011: Opposition party leader VS Achuthanandan today said that if Government and Court gave permission, LDF was ready to build new dam in Mullaperiyar.He was speaking to mediapersons prior to visiting the dam site with other LDF leaders. VS said the LDF will be able to come across money for that and once we get the permission will collect money from the public.
Former ministers AK Premachandran, C Divakaran, Mathew T Thomas, CPI state secretary C K Chandrappan, AK Sasindran, Ramachandran Kadannapilly, PC Thomas, LDF convener Vaikom Viswan are accompanying the opposition leader.
