Monday, 28 November 2011: An elephant runs amok near Thiruvanchiyoor junction on Monday and creating panic in the area. The elephant Ashokan turned violent at Thiruvanchiyoor around 12 p.m.Later, the mahouts managed to bring the elephant under control.
