Sunday, November 06, 2011: K.A. Rauf, the estranged
brother-in-law of Industries Minister P.K. Kunhalikutty, has alleged that the
leader had a role in the irregularities at the Kerala Metals and Minerals Ltd.
and the Travancore Titanium Products.
Rauf said the waste treatment projects at both the companies
were handled by a firm, which was only a “cover”. “The operations for the both
the projects were carried out by a Kochi-based individual named Rajeev,” he
said.
A CBI probe must be conducted into both the corruption cases
and also on Kunhalikutty’s involvement, Rauf added.
