ADGP Sen Kumar talks in favour of Kalabhavan Mani

KOLLAM: Intelligence ADGP T P Sen Kumar talked in favour of actor Kalabhavan Mani who is involved in a case for assaulting forest officials. If it was Mohanlal, Mammootty, Jayaram or Dilip in place of Mani, then the approach of the police would have been different, he said.

He said this while inaugurating a function organized by the police association in Kollam.

The police are so eager to nab him as it is Kalabhavan Mani. If it was some other superstars in the place of Mani, then would the police have shown so much interest?  The police are behind him as the actor struggled very hard to reach this  position.

The official said, “I asked Thrissur SP the crime committed by Mani. I’m not justifying the act committed by Mani. The official was not able to give an answer when I asked whether action would have been taken if it was superstars in the place of Mani.  Not only police, the attitude of government officials towards the ordinary people are the same
