Court seeks govt's response on Kalabhavan Mani’s bail plea

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court sought the response of the police on the bail plea of actor Kalabhavan Mani in connection with the assault of forest officials.  The court will consider the plea only after getting the response of the police. 

The actor filed the bail plea today. The actor was not at home when the police went in search of him.

Meantime, the court rejected the actor's demand of avoiding arrest till a decision is taken on the bail plea. The court will consider the case again on Monday.
