Party appointed personal staffs for VS, says M M Mani

KOTTAYAM: CPM Idukki district former secretary M M Mani has come to the fore harshly criticizing the expelled personal staff members of opposition leader V S Achuthanandan. The party appointed them and it has the right to oust them, he said.

Mani said, “The staffs were expelled as they spoke against the party. The three are just branch committee members. If they want to lodge a complaint they can approach the control commission.”

Mani’s next target was CPI former national secretary A B Bardhan for supporting VS and state secretary Panniyan Raveendran. Nobody entrusted the two to opine on the affairs of the CPM, he said.
