Raid at suspended cop’s houses

KOTTAYAM: Teams of the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) conducted raids on Thursday in the residences of Anoop C. Nair, a sub- inspector who is under suspension for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known source of income. The operation was led by SP (Vigilance) P Radhakrishnan and the raids were conducted at Nair’s ancestral residence in Puthuppally, his wife’s house in Aymanam, his house at Chavvituvari, where he currently resides, and in his house at Erayilkadavu that he had recently purchased.
