Self-financing medical exam: Police clash with SFI activists
KOZHIKODE: The police Friday clashed with the SFI and AISF activists who staged a march to Kozhikode MES Raja Residential School where exams are being held for management seats in nine self-financing private medical colleges. The march was staged in protest against the leakage of question papers by the managements.
The police blocked the march in front of the school. Stones were pelted at the police when they tried to remove the protestors shouting slogans in front of the school. The police resorted to lathicharge and used tear gas. The students who refused to leave the place continued pelting stones at the police. The glasses of the jeep were smashed. Students arrested clashed with the police inside the vehicle.
