KOCHI: The Kerala High Court directed not to consider CBSE students who passed the tenth standard after writing the exams conducted by the respective school, for plus one admissions. The court approved the guidelines moved by the government. The court ordered to continue the procedures for plus one admission.
Only students who studied in the state syllabus and those passed the CBSE board exam will get admissions for plus one. The state argued that if admissions are given to the CBSE students passed in the school level exams then it will badly affect the SSLC students.
The CBSE are now conducting two exams-- school level and board exams. The government pointed out that students writing the school level exams are getting high marks as the evaluation are conducted in the respective schools.
