Pregnant woman dies in accident

VENJARAMOODU: A pregnant woman, who was undergoing treatment after sustaining injuries in an accident, died here Saturday. The accident happened on May 15 at Vettinadu when she was travelling with her husband in a bike. The woman has been identified as Sandhya (22), wife of Aji of Venjaramoodu. She was nine months pregnant. The baby taken out through a surgery died on May 16. Aji, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, is undergoing treatment at the medical college hospital.
