Kumari’s heart could not save Shinto
KOCHI: The life of Shinto Kuriakose (27) could not be saved even after heart transplantation. The heart transplantation was successfully performed at the Lissie Hospital in Ernakulam by Dr Jose ChackoPeriappuram. The heart of Kumari (59), who died of stroke, was transplanted to Shinto.
The surgery was performed on May 16. He died after the functioning of his internal organs damaged. Shinto was a dialysis technician of Lissie Hospital.
