Beemapally Dargah Shareef annual festival starting on may 5th with prayer and precession led by Alhaj K.M. Hassan Ashrafi Al Baquavi, Chief Imam of the Beemapally Muslim Jama-ath,
Commencement of the festival done by Jamaath president U. Haja Muhammed.
The 11 day Urus festival is held to memorialize the death anniversary of Saint Sayyidhathunissa Beema Beevi and her son Ashaikhu Sayidushaheed Maheen Aboobaker who were laid to rest at the Dargah Shereef.
Religious conversations by Muslim scholars, cultural performances and prayer meetings will be held during the event.
