Cremation today; thousands bid farewell to CK Chandrappan
Friday, March 23, 2012: The cremation of CPI State secretary CK Chandrappan , who died on Thursday, will be held today at 6 pm in Alappuzha.
The cremation will be held with full State honours. Chandrappan died around 12:10 pm on Thursday in a private hospital here in Thiruvananthapuram.
Thousands of people from all walks of life came in droves to pay homage to him yesterday. Many prominent personalities from all circles bereaved the death of Chandrappan.
