Govt issues notification for CBI probe into data centre case

Wednesday, March 7, 2012: The State Government has decided to hand over the probe to CBI in connection with the case on handing over of the data centre to Reliance during the previous LDF tenure. The Government has issued notification regarding this.
Chief Whip P C George had filed a plea in the Kerala High Court seeking a CBI probe in connection with the handing over of the data Centre to Reliance during the tenure of the LDF Government. The plea alleged that the centre was handed over against law.
Former Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan and Mohan Sukumaran, son of former prosecution director general Kallada Sukumaran, are named defendants in the plea.
