Italian marines brought to Poojappura central jail

Monday, March 5, 2012: The two Italian marines accused of killing two Indian fishermen were brought to the Poojappura central prison on Monday.
Earlier in the day, the marines have been remanded in judicial custody for another 14 days. The two were produced in the Kollam court as their police custody ended here today.The court directed to provide them Italian food. The court also gave permission for an Italian to meet the two in between 10 am and 2 pm daily. No other facilities were given to them.
