Jagathy’s condition improves further: Medical Bulletin

Thursday, March 15, 2012: Doctors treating well-known Malayalam actor Jagathy Sreekumar, who was seriously injured in a road accident at Panambra, last Saturday, said that his overall condition had improved considerably.
The actor had undergone three surgeries at the Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences at Kozhikode for the bone fractures he had suffered in his hip, a knee and his right forearm,
Jagathy had suffered multiple fractures and injuries in the neck, abdomen and chest in the mishap. His lungs had also been impacted, which had affected oxygenation and doctors had, therefore, decided to keep him on a ventilator, doctors said.
