Manjeri Prasanthi hospital nurses go on strike

Thursday, March 15, 2012: The nurses belonging to the Manjeri Prasanthi hospital have launched a strike demanding better wages on Thursday morning.
A rise in the minimum wage, removal of bonded labour and introduction of working in shifts, reappointment of dismissed nurses are some of the demands raised by the striking nurses.
