LDF councillors take out march to Tvm railway station

Thursday, March 15, 2012: LDF councillors in the Thiruvananthapuram City Corporation, on Thursday, organised a dharna in front of the Thampanoor railway station for the alleged neglect shown towards Kerala in the Central railway budget.
Inaugurating the protest march, Mayor K. Chandrika came down heavily on the Railway Budget noting that the Railway Minister had done a gross injustice to Kerala.
The Budget had neglected the needs of the State and was one of the worst for Kerala in recent years, she alleged.
