‘Ministership’ remark: EC gives clean chit to Aryadan

Friday, March 2, 2012: The Central Election Commission has today said that Aryadan’s ‘ministership’ remark is not a violation of poll code of conduct.
The commission added that there is no need of further action into this issue. The LDF had earlier filed a complaint with the election commission against Electricity Minister Aryadan Mohammed.
According to the LDF complaint, Aryadan Mohammed had violated model code of conduct by declaring that Anoop would become a minister after the polls.
