Road mishap in Oman: Vayalar Ravi’s intervention sought


 Monday, March 5, 2012: Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has sought the help of Union Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi to take immediate steps to repatriate the bodies of five Keralites died in a road accident in Muscat.
At least six Indians, including five Keralites, were killed in a road accident that occurred in Oman on Sunday. The employees of a construction company were travelling in the truck to reach their work place.
The dead Keralites were identified as Anil Kumar (38), Vishnu Bhargavan Villappil (38), Prasad Balakrishna Pillai (39), Sujikrishnan (29) and Johnson (35). All natives of Thiruvananthapuram district.
The police identified the Tamil Nadu resident as Das of Karinkal near Kanyakumari. They said they were yet to confirm the addresses of the deceased.
