Vigilance conducts raid in ration shops across State

Wednesday, March 21, 2012: The Vigilance on Tuesday carried out raids at the state Civil Supplies offices and wholesale depots across the State on Tuesday.
The raids found wide-spread irregularities. The raids were conducted based on a complaint that rice and kerosene was being sold in black market. Raid was held in rice and sugar wholesale depots and also in 90 places in the state.
The secret raid was held under `Operation Bread and Butter’.
