Accused found guilty in Nilambur Radha murder case

MALAPPURAM: The court found the two accused guilty in the murder of Radha, a housekeeper inside the Congress office in Nilambur. First accused K M Biju and second accused K Shamsudeen were found guilty by the Mancheri additional district sessions court (one) judge P S Shashi Kumar. The quantum of sentence will be pronounced on Thursday.

The argument on the sentence to be given to the two ended today. The prosecution requested the court to give them maximum punishment as the incident was ruthless.  Radha was murdered on February 5 in 2014. Her body was recovered from an abandoned pond at Pookkottumpadam on February 10.
