KANNUR: A CPM activist hacked at Chittariparambu near Koothuparambu died here Thursday morning.
The dead identified as Preman was a toddy shop worker. Seriously injured Preman admitted at the Pariyaram Cooperative Hospital died at 6.30 am this morning.
He was hacked last night. RSS activists are behind the incident, alleged the CPM.
A hartal will be observed from 2 pm to 6 pm in Kannur in protest against his death.
