NEW DELHI: CPM Politburo commission will examine Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan’s disagreement with CPM’s political-organisational report. They will also see how the contents of VS’ report got leaked to the media. The Commission’s evaluation and findings will be presented before the Central Committee.
The commission comprises six persons including General Secretary Prakash Karat. It will examine the contents in the letter but may not go for a detailed discussion on it.
PB Commission Bureau S Ramachandran has said that he had not seen VS’ letter and if he has sent such a letter, it would be examined by the PB Commission.
The Opposition leader in his letter had apparently lashed out at the party leadership, saying that it was carrying out two kinds of justice within the party. The initial decision of the leadership was not to discuss the letter but later it changed that stand.
