KOLLAM/THRISSUR: A verbal dispute broke out between KPCC chief V M Sudheeran and the bar owners.
Bar association president Rajkumar Unni said Sudheeran, who is seeking the closure of bar outlets should end the drinking habit of his own family and then turn to the streets to serve the local residents. Sudheeran’s sister- in-law Baby Radhakrishnan has bars in Chelakkara, Thiruvilwamala, Ottappalam and Ollur, he alleged.
Rajkumar asked Sudheeran to reveal whose ambassador car he was using from 1991 to 2001 December. The car belongs to a person connected with a bar in Thrissur. Criticizing Gokulam Gopalan openly was not correct, he said.
