CM’s pocket diary goes missing

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy’s pocket diary has gone missing. “The chief minister has lost his soul and the absolute,” this is how people in CM’s office have described the “great” loss.

Chandy lost his diary at some point of his journey to New Delhi , where he had been summoned for a meeting called by the Prime Minister. The diary was so precious for him as he had jotted down with his own hand all the must-attend programmes and projects.

Once he writes down a programme in his diary, he will certainly attend that. So people who came to invite him for a programme saw to it that he recorded it in the diary.

This has been Chandy’s habit ever since he started his political career.

However, Chandy, though disturbed, is optimistic that he will get back his diary. He has also sought the help of officials in the Kerala Guest House in Delhi to search for the diary. For the time-being he has procured a new diary and written down whatever programmes he could recollect.
