ADIMALI: In a shocking incident, a tourist home owner and his family members were allegedly found murdered and their ornaments stolen. Adimali Parekkattil Kunju Muhammed, his wife Aishumma (58) and mother Nachi (85) were seen allegedly killed in a room adjacent to the lodge.
The incident happened at Rajadhani tourist home along Adimali-Munnar route. The ornaments worn by Ishumma and Nachi were missing. The cupboard and other drawers were found pried open. Two pages of the register book containing information about those checking in and checking out were found torn off. About 25 sovereign gold had gone missing.
A police team led by Munnar DySP K B Prafulla Chandran, Adimali CI Saji Markose and SI E Soljimon have reached the spot and started primary investigation. Dog squads and finger print experts have also been called in.
