Aircraft suffers tyre burst while landing in Nedumbassery

NEDUMBASSERY: About 161 passengers onboard an Air India flight had a narrow escape when one of its back tyres burst while landing at the Nedumbassery Airport. The incident happened Thursday morning at 9.15 am. The pilot without losing his confidence landed the flight from Delhi to Sharjah via Kochi safely. Officials said all passengers of the flight are safe.

The flight has been shifted to the parking bay for replacement. The flight could depart only after replacing the damaged tyres. Passengers have been accommodated in hotels. If there is a delay in the work, the passengers will be sent in another flight.
