KOTTAYAM: The death of Swamy Saswathikananda is unnatural, said Sivagiri Mutt chief Swamy Prakashanandan. A further probe is required on his death, he said.
There was a deep cut wound on Saswathikananda’s forehead. I was told that the wound caused when the body was brought to the shore, but I have doubts on it. The body was recovered from the pavement adjacent to the river. If he had drowned then the body would have floated, he said.
Meantime, Saswathikananda’s sister Shantha said SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan and his son Thushar should be subjected for a polygraph test. Speaking to a private channel, she said that she will lodge a complaint to the chief minister requesting for the test.
