Fire breaks out at Amrita Hostel in Kollam

KARUNAGAPALLY: A fire broke out at the men’s hostel of the Amrita Engineering College at Karunagapally in Kollam. No casualty has been reported. Short circuit is suspected to be the reason for the fire. The fire spread from the welding workshop near the hostel.  Seeing the fire spreading, the local residents called the fire force. The fire was later doused by six fire force units from Karunagapally and Kayamkulam.
