George working against front, says Chandy and Sudheeran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and KPCC chief V M Sudheeran, who deposed before the speaker said P C George is working against the UDF by standing in the front. As part of it, he fielded his own candidate for the Aruvikkara bypolls, said Chandy. The two gave their statements as witnesses on the complaint of Kerala Congress seeking disqualification of George.

George is taking an anti-coalition attitude on a regular basis. Though he was warned many times, he is still following his steps. Standing in the UDF and fielding another candidate is not suitable for the party’s policy. His act is included in the anti-defection law, he said. George revived Kerala Congress secular, he said.

Sudheeran said George don’t deserve to continue in the post. If he was in the congress, he would have ousted for accepting anti-party stands. He is levelling allegations against ministers without any evidences, he said.
