THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The crime branch Saturday busted a major online sex racket in the state. Twelve persons of the team taken into custody are involved in the flesh trade and offer minor girls and serial artistes in the name of Escort Services. The police have obtained information that more are involved in the team. The crime branch are taking all efforts to trap them.
The website Locantois not only engaged in sex racket but also offer the services of housewives to professionals. The police in a fake address registered after seeing the ad in the site. Soon came the message asking their requirements. The police gave a reply without causing a doubt.
When asked where they would be brought, the racket chose Kollam. When said there are more they were willing to offer as much as they want and finally reached a hotel in Kollam. A team consisting of five women and seven agents were taken into custody by the crime branch. They were nabbed with the help of the cyber police by a team led by IG Sreejith as per the directive of crime branch ADGP Ananthakrishnan.
