THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala High Court has stayed the FIR registered by the police against Reporter T V Managing Director M V Nikesh Kumar over the Company share issue.
The FIR had been registered by Thodupuzha police based on a complaint registered by a shareholder via the chief minister’s office.
The court gave the interim order in response to the plea filed by Kumar, seeking the cancellation of the FIR.
The high court observed that the arguments put forth by the petitioner for the cancellation of the FIR was prima facie maintainable.
Meanwhile, the reporter channel said in a statement that it would file a defamation case against those media who published denigrating reports against it.
