Kummanam seeks CBI inquiry into Kalabhavan Mani’s death

CHALAKKUDY: BJP State chief Kummanam Rajasekharan has sought a CBI inquiry into the death of actor Kalabhavan Mani. He said the police were not able to crack the case even 15 days after his death. He made this comment to media persons after meeting Mani’s family members in Chalakkudy.

“Several persons have now come under the cloud of suspicion. So a CBI inquiry will be essential to bring out the truth. Now what are coming out are cooked-up stories about his death. Mani’s death was not a coincidence. Through a comprehensive inquiry, the real culprit can be brought before the law, howsoever powerful he may be,” he said.
