CPM to cooperate with Malayora Vikasana Samithi

KOZHIKODE: District secretary P Mohanan Friday said the CPM is willing to cooperate with the Malayora Vikasana Samithi in the Thiruvambady constituency in Kozhikode. The samithi’s stand will be considered and their emotions will not be opposed, he said.

The CPM will maximally utilise the dispute between the Congress and the Muslim League in the elections. A final decision will be taken only after knowing samithi’s stand regarding the candidate.

In the meanwhile, the samithi has stated that they are ready to hold talks with the CPM. Samithi leader Chacko Kalaparambil said the party’s move to cooperate with us is not for any political gains. The Left Front understands the emotions of the samithi.
