Thiruvamabady seat controversy: League expresses dissatisfaction

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Muslim League expressed severe dissatisfaction on the controversy in connection with the Thiruvambady seat. The letter written by the League in 2011 assuring to give away the Thiruvambady seat to the Congress, had been exposed.

However, Minister P K Kunhalikutty said there is no need for a discussion now as the League had already announced their candidate in Thiruvambady.

The Thiruvambady seat belongs to the League and the candidate has also been announced. The letter was sent to the chief minister. The issues on it will be discussed with the chief minister and solved, he told reporters here.

The Malayora Vikasana Samithi had the other day stated that they would field a candidate in Thiruvambady if the seat is not taken over by the congress. The panel is all set to contest in eight constituencies including Thiruvambady.
