Chennithala asks CPM to make public death report of TP

THRISSUR: KPCC chief Ramesh Chennithala asked the CPM to make public their investigating report in connection with the murder of RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan.

Party general secretary Prakash Karat had earlier stated that action will be taken against CPM activists if they have any role in the case. The investigating report has not been made public.

Chennithala said the report has not been made public as the role of the party leaders would be exposed.
Chennithala said this while talking to reporters at Thrissur Ramanilayam as part of his Kerala Yatra.

He alleged that many are turning hostile in the case due to the threat of the CPM. He asked the government to examine whether legal steps can be taken against those turning hostile like the one initiated in Best Bakery case.  Witnesses turning hostile will weaken the law, he said.

Chennithala said CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan is playing dirty politics to oust opposition leader V S Achuthanandan from the party.
