NEW DELHI: The CPI (M) central panel has directed the state faction not to depend on community organizations in Kerala. The direction came as their attitudes are against the party. The central committee convened in Delhi decided to toughen their campaign against communalism.
Interaction with the public should be strengthened. Steps should be taken to fight the growth of BJP in Kerala. The panel directed to see seriously the breakthrough of the BJP in the Aruvikkara bypolls. The unity in the party should also be maintained.
The central committee also decided to convene the CPM plenum from December 27-30 at Kolkata to discuss organizational problems.
