THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 25-year-old-youth was killed after the car in which he was travelling along with his friend lost control and hit a tree on the roadside in the national highway. The dead has been identified as Nishan, son of Nazarudeen of Kayamkulam. His friend Shamnaz has been admitted in the medical hospital with serious injuries.
The accident happened Wednesday morning at 1.30 am near Thattuppalam in Kallambalam when they were proceeding to the airport to receive their friend coming from the Gulf.
Nishan was an employee of a private firm. He leaves behind his mother Bushra and brothers Ashiq and Nabeel.
