THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The political base of the Left Front has not been dented in Aruvikkara, said CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. However, lapses occurred in focusing campaign against the BJP, he said at a press meet.
The UDF and the BJP joined hands to dent the political base of the LDF. The LDF obtained more votes than they attained in the assembly polls in Aruvikkara. The RSP was with the LDF last time and this time with the UDF. Still votes increased, he said.
