Raw deal for Kerala in Rail budget

Wednesday, March 14, 2012: The rail budget presented by Union Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi on Wednesday has been unkind to Kerala.
For Kerala nothing much was offered except work on the Kanjikode factory to be completed soon. A survey will be conducted for a new railway terminal in Nemam. Also, a coach terminal in Kottayam is also planned.
The discussion would begin for a feasibility study on a new superfast rail route between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasargod.
