Medha Patkar meets Achuthanandan

Sunday, July 15, 2012: Social and environmental activist Medha Patkar, after her meeting with Opposition leader VS Achuthanandhan at the Cantontment House on Sunday morning, told mediapersons that VS should enter the national arena inorder to give the right direction to the Left Front.


VS is not a person to be confined to Kerala alone. He is a unique personality. The attack unleashed in the name of political murders should come to an end, Medha said.


It is also learnt that the issue of reclaiming paddy fields also cropped up in their discussion. Medha reached Kerala to take part in a seminar at Thiruvananthapuram.
