Ennu Ninte Moideen withdrawn from IFFK

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Ennu Ninte Moideen, a super hit Malayalam film running in packed houses, has been withdrawn from the International Film Festival of Kerala. Director R S Vimal said it is withdrawn as the film was not included in the competition category. Nine films from Malayalam including Jayaraj’s Ottal and Sathish Babusenan’s Chaayam Poosiya Veedu are considered in the competition category.

I am not interested in showcasing the film under Malayalam Cinema Innu, he said. The film was bought after saying that it will be included in the competition category. I had mentioned that if it is not included in the competition category then it need not be considered for the festival. It is unfortunate that the directors are heard from newspapers the sections of the fest.
