KPMS to support third front

KOCHI: The Kerala Pulayar Maha Sabha extended its unanimous support to the third front, representing the majority Hindu Community, to be formed by the SNDP. Talking to reporters here, Sabha General Secretary T V Babu stressed on the need for a political alternative against the UDF and the LDF as both the fronts were sharing the power once every alternate five years. Babu said the Sabha would join with the third front to be formulate between the SNDP and the BJP, as both the LDF and the UDF ignored the genuine demands of the Pulayar Sabha in all areas, including education and land issues. Condemning the allegation against SNDP General Secretary Vellappally Netesan, he said his association would stand behind Natesan until he was declared as guilty.
